J.J. 4: Bitcoin's legal tender anniversary
Another short post this week with two profound links
Hola amigos,
Greetings from El Zonte!
Tomorrow is THE two year anniversary.
September 7th, 2021.
The day that El Salvador changed the course of human history.
The day this tiny “third world” country became the first country to officially recognize Bitcoin as legal tender.
There’s so much to say.
So many stories… podcasts… articles… and more.
I’ll leave you with just the two best for now:
Presidente Nayib Bukele’s iconic article for Bitcoin Magazine last year
Stacy Herbert’s “Bitcoin Beach” podcast interview
“Stop Drinking the Elite’s Kool-Aid”
by Presidente Nayib Bukele
Seriously… it’s worth the time to read.
If you prefer to listen instead — understandable for multitasking — fortunately, Guy Swann has read the full article (and added his own take) for an episode of his “Bitcoin Audible” podcast.
The hyperlink above is for the episode on “Fountain” app, where you can earn small amounts of Bitcoin while listening!
But here’s the link on Spotify as well for any readers who hate money:
Seriously.
If you only EVER read one single article — or only EVER listen to one single podcast episode — on the topic of Bitcoin in El Salvador…
That’s it.
THAT is THE ONE to check out.
(I personally re-listened to it on my flight here to El Salvador almost a full month ago)
“Bitcoin Beach” podcast:
“Stacy Herbert + Official Bitcoin Office of El Salvador = a profound spiritual renaissance mindset.”
Max Keiser and his wife Stacy Herbert are about as “OG” as it gets in the Bitcoin movement.
Love ‘em or hate ‘em… they’ve both been boldly advocating for Bitcoin as a solution to the corrupt fiat banking system for well OVER A DECADE now.
Both also moved here to El Salvador soon after Bitcoin became legal tender.
Max did an episode too on the “Bitcoin Beach” podcast, recorded not long after he also did a popular interview with Tucker Carlson.
Both of those interviews are ALSO great.
But the one with Stacy is probably even better, in my personal subjective opinion.
She’s brilliantly articulate.
And she’s involved firsthand — not only witnessing up close, but also directly supporting — the overall “Renaissance 2.0” that’s ALREADY HAPPENING here:
That’s it for this week.
Two year anniversary.
Two incredibly worthwhile links.
Something magical is happening here in El Salvador.
Something historic.

Peace, amigos.
Adios until next week!
